Dear friend of Butterfly!

Can you believe we are celebrating 10 years of power together for Asian & migrant sex workers and massage workers of Butterfly?! Will you help us fund our future? It is only with your vital support that we can move forward and continue to fly.

Many of you may recognize the important work we have done, particularly organizing migrant sex workers and making our voices heard. We've laid the groundwork for ten years and perhaps you have already felt the ripple effects within greater migrant rights, racial justice, abolitionist, and sex worker rights movements. We are ready to further develop our capacities and leadership within our membership; to grow our movement and respond to communities needs with greater impact while still keeping the grassroots efforts central in our hearts.

We are excited to invite you to join Butterfly’s 10th Anniversary Gala on October 3, 2024. This event marks a significant milestone as we celebrate a decade of transformative work with Asian and migrant sex workers in Toronto.

We are deeply grateful to the sex workers, friends, allies and supporters who have journeyed with us- learning, growing, and fighting together. Your inspiration, solidarity, and strength have been key threads in helping Butterfly grow, soar, resist, and liberate over the past decade.

For the past ten years, Butterfly has been at the forefront of grassroots organizing, providing vital services to migrant sex workers and fighting against systemic oppression. This gala is more than just a celebration—it is a call to action to continue this critical work.
